After the appearance of the first Graffiti Magazine, we quickly realised that sustainable success would only be possible with effective marketing and distribution. In those days, no functional marketing channels existed for the fanzines, which were mostly produced by the authors’ and artists’ themselves. Graffiti magazines were sold at jams from their makers’ backpacks. For this reason, we started to offer the sparse number of existing Graffiti shops a wide range of Graffiti literature at regular intervals. Incidentally, such unconventional “magazine exchange” is being practiced to this day, so that Graffiti magazines from the most remote places on the globe find their way onto the shelves of our warehouse and thereby to the shops in the vicinity. We can state with pride that we probably offer the widest range of Graffiti media worldwide. In the course of the past few years, the line of merchandise was extended to include further useful items. This trend is to be continued in future.
